Ningbo Xingao Plastic and Chemical Co., Ltd., founded in 1994, covers an area of 70,000 square meters wherein 40,000 square meters are workshops and has a staff of over 400, 15% of whom own intermediate professional title. The company has passed ISO9001：2000 and ISO/TS16949：2002 quality system certification.

The company is mainly engaged in the modification of engineering plastics. It owns 9 production lines(Germany WP dual-screw extrusion machine) and complete material testing equipment. It cooperated with domestic universities and colleges to have developed auto modified nylon, electric tool reinforced nylon, reinforced PP and environmental-protection fire retarded ABS, PP, with the same performance as that of foreign counterparts. The company takes lead in developing the nanometer technology for its wide application in domestic small electrical appliance industry. Five kinds of its products have passed the US UL Certification. At present, its annual output of modified engineering plastics amounts to over 12,000 tons. 　　

The company has two subsidiaries, the home electrical appliance company and the plastic injection company. The home electrical appliance branch produces auto electronic icebox, emergency power supply, invertor and ice maker, etc, which got UL, CE, GS, E-MARK certificates. The plastic injection branch produces air-conditioner shells, LCD monitor plastic parts, construction earthwork grilles and so on.

The company is adjacent to Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway and Hangzhou-Ningbo 328 National Highway. It enjoys convenient transport, 80km from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and 60km from Ningbo Lishe Airport. When Hangzhou Bay Bridge is completed in 2008, Ningbo will enter the booming Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle and be more endowed with geographical superiority.
